Transsiberian
I read one blogger call Transsiberian "The most underrated movie of 2008". I'm not sure if that's true or not, but hot damn is it one tense-as-hell thriller. Brad Anderson, who co-wrote and directed both Transsiberian and Session 9 (one of the most underrated horror movies I know of) is kind of a wizard of suspense at this point I think. It's the kind of movie that actually earns the moniker "Hitchcockian". Both Session-9 and Transsiberian are old fashioned in that for their first halves, they're really muich more invested in character and world development, the suspense building is slow and both films are devoid of the get of GOTCHA!SOUNDCUE! scares that dot the landscape of pretty much all thriller cinema these days.
Rent it.
I remain disappointed that the film (which I have not seen) was not scored by the Trans Siberian Orchestra.

Good call. I loved this movie and think Emily Mortimer deserves some year-end awards consideration.
