I just wanted to make it clear that I am actually quite enjoying this season thus far, even if I'm been critical of it. I'm enjoying it much more than I did last season, where it seemed like the show had taken off in so many different directions that it had kinda lost its way. This season seems far more focused thus far, now that Earth has turned out to be kinda a Red Herring.
I am worried that there are too many threads to possibly answer in ten more episodes, especially with this (totally awesome) mutiny going on. But in general, I'm happy with this season.
I also forgot to mention... you know what's awesome about this week's episode? The way that it's overtly about Justice and Revenge. I mean, besides Adama litereally saying "there will be a reckoning"... Every character before they're assaulted has another character explain why they're being attacked. "Why don't we have a trial?" or "I just can't let it go" or the scene with Helo. lLthoughI thought the guy being like "I've waited years to rape your Cylon wife!" was maybe a bit much.
But anyway, there's a theme developing this season of people having to answer for what they've done. Throughout the show, it's seemed like the past gets Put Behind Us very easily. So to have Lee, for example, dress down Colonel Tigh and be like "dude, what the fuck did you expect? you guys killed all of us" while also still fighting for the democratic process and for the right way forward was totally awesome.
And we also see how Gaita is driven to do this to make up for what he did as Baltar's aide to camp. Anyway... just an interesting theme developing.
Oh, and I could watch Pres. Roslin shouting "I AM COMING FOR ALL OF YOU!" on a loop. While eating pecan pie. And smearing it on my body.
that's one of the problems with watching it on hulu: no previews of next week.
(i gotta say, gaeta leaving his boyfriend out of the uprising broke my heart.
and helo's so good at his job!)

given that the previews often give away explicitly or implicitly major plot points in a way that betrays the show, that is in fact an asset to watching on hulu
