My Stagegrade partner Rob Weinert-Kendt has a truly excellent takedown of The Weekly Standard's new piece on David Mamet's conversion to movement conservatism.  It can be found here. Enjoy.

At this point. having engaged with David Mamet's public pronouncements about his politics several times over the years this blog has been running... I just can't do it anymore. The guy is as lazy in his political thinking as he is in his post-The Cryptogram writing, and writing his political "ideas" in provocative prose doesn't make them actually thought provoking, because they're missing the thought part. 

But Rob really does yeoman's work over there at The Wicked Stage. And he does it with aplomb. Check it out.

I'd be interested in hearing. The TOS seems rather clear that it is not unless expressly approved by Amazon. I guess if the library got it in writing then they would be ok.
