The good folks over at Hooded Utilitarian have been gracious enough to host a lengthy essay I wrote on Jonathan Lethem's Chronic City, how the internet is affecting our humanity, David Foster Wallace, and contemporary literature. It was a little longer than their normal word count (I can go on for awhile, as you all know) so they cut it in two parts.
Part One, essentially a long introduction outlining some themes and talking about DFW's essay E Unibas Pluram can be found here.
Part Two, where I delve into Chronic City can be found here.
Hope you enjoy!
