The Adolescence Issue: Table of Contents and Finis

It's been a really fun issue here at Parabasis and I'd like to thank all the contributors for their efforts on behalf of the issue. As in our last two issues (on Lanford Wilson and Fandom) we only mined a small chunk of the vast mountain of material related to our topic, but I think we still found some rich seams to harvest.  

Thanks everyone, as always, for reading. I'm debating between a couple of themes for the next issue. If there's any you'd like to see explored, please leave a comment!

(4) The Voice Of A Generation: Danny Bowes chronicles his frought relationship with Pump Up The Volume

(5) Lonergan, Off Again: Rob Weinert-Kendt writes about Kenneth Lonnergan's brilliant This Is Our Youth

(6) Here Comes the Fear Again: Ben Owen on addiction, Trainspotting and Requiem for a Dream

(7) The Case For Hannah Hovarth and Bella Swan: Monika Bartyzel on instructional literature,  and the gulf between what we want adolescent protagonists to be and realism.
