i think for the purposes of polling, likely voters are defined as people who voted in the last election of this kind, or perhaps the last two.


I think income and education levels are also used to identify likely voters, by Quinnipiac, et al. But don't quote me


Right. I know how they're *traditionally* done. But it seems to me this election is likely to stir up a bizarre number of *unlikely* voters, as more Republicans are drawn in to try to reelect Lieberman and more first-timers come in for Lamont. I just think it's probably unpredicatble.
