$400: Eugene O'Neill featured the conflicts among the Tyrone family in this 1957 Pulitzer Prize-winning play.

$800: Two brothers battle furiously in a 1980 play by Sam Shephard.

$1200: A Jewish boy and a Catholic girl marry and face their families' wrath in this long-running Broadway hit of the 1920s.

$1600: This epic describing the war between the Pandavas and the Kauravas was staged then filmed by Peter Brook in the 1980s.

$2000: A woman mixes her painful memories with scenes from Now Voyager, Viva Zapata and A Place in the Sun in this 1976 play by Adrienne Kennedy.
